2025 Cape Town Met: A Dazzling Fusion of Fashion and Racing!
The 2025 World Sports Betting Cape Town Met, held this past weekend at the Hollywood bets Kenilworth Racecourse, was a spectacular blend of high fashion and thrilling sport.
The runway was a sight to behold, with models from D&A; Ella, Kapriece, Zara, and Chris, gracing the catwalk in stunning designs that captivated the audience.
Curated by the renowned Gavin Rajah, the fashion showcase brought the theme "Couture Unleashed" to life, featuring a series of breathtaking collections. One of the standout moments came from Siphesihle Masango, who debuted his Masango label at the Met. With a mix of excitement and nerves, Masango presented a collection filled with intricate embellishments, textured fabrics, corsetry, and voluminous silhouettes. "The collection is youthful and glamorous, reflecting the relaxed yet sophisticated vibe of Cape Town, with a touch of sensuality," Masango said.
Alongside Masango, other top designers who showcased their talent included Mzukisi Mbane of Imprint ZA, Craig Port, Kim Govaars, Gavin Rajah, Thula Sindi, Sipho Mabuto, Stephen van Eeden, Ramo Jozsy, Fikile Sokhulu, and Cindy Bam. Thula Sindi and Craig Port made an impression with their chic and elegant designs, while other designers added a diverse range of styles to the mix.
Celebrities such as Cassper Nyovest, K.O, Maps Maponyane, Thabsie, Mpumi Mlambo, Pamela Mtanga, Natasha Joubert, Yaya Mavundla, Nomuzi Mabena, and Khosi Twala turned heads on the red carpet, adding even more glamour to the event.
